Objectives / Goals of the Program:
- Foster global connections among members.
- Encourage professional development and growth.
- Strengthen weaker chapters through collaboration.
- Exchange of leadership expertise.
- Support student branch chapters and expand the ComSoc network.
- Organize exchange programs to enhance collaboration and learning.

Expected Output (Joint Activities Proposal for Four Chapters):
- Jointly host / attend professional, technical, and social events for diverse expertise and knowledge (at least two annually). Collaborate on networking and relationship building.
- Volunteer Leadership Training workshops and exchange of Expertise meetings.
- Creating new student chapters and activating the non-active ones.
- Improve joint ComSoc student chapters’ activities: to participate in a variety of activities, including leadership and team building, scholarships, competitions, conferences, and career fairs.
- Collaborate on fundraising for maximum impact, establish corporate relations, and/or sponsorship together.

Benefits of Participating:
- Extra special annual individual chapter fund to be granted to the participating chapters (proposed $500) to be allocated for Student Branch Chapters.
- Distinguished Lecturer Program support (Priority) for the active group.
- Sister Chapter Certification Program by membership services (at the end of the year).
- Nomination to Outstanding Sister Chapters of the Year Award.
- Participation in student exchange programs.

How to Participate in the Program (ComSoc Sister Chapter Agreement):
The enrollment procedure for the Sister Chapter Program can be summarized in the following steps:
- Fill out the Participation Form (Sister Chapters Program Google form).
- Optionally, establish a Sisterhood with another chapter by emailing the program team.
- Wait for confirmation from the program team to officially establish the group and approve the chapter pairing.
- Officially announce the Sister Chapter group to start collaborating (published on websites/Social media).
For more information, please contact us: sisterchapters@comsoc.org. To be a part of the ComSoc Sister Chapter Program, you have to fill out the Interest Form. Detailed answers are needed to be approved by ComSoc administrative.

Program Expectations (minimum of) :
- Organizing 2 joint activities to promote membership,
- Organizing 2 joint technical activities
- Formation of at least 2 new comsoc student chapters (within partcipting group)
- Holding 1 joint student activity meeting.
- Turning a final report about the project.
Detailed timeline of the project (Proposal)
April + May (Spring 2023)
- Registration : Launch the Sister Chapter Group website and social media accounts to showcase the Program mission, goals, events, and achievements / joining Forms and email.
- Planning : Finalize the planning of proposal / action plan of joint activities, such as webinars, workshops. Contact and assign Student SB chairs project voluntters and assign tasks to members. (Chairs)
- Student Chapters: Conduct a second meeting with for (student chapter chairs) to engage them in the Sister Chapter Group. Creat pettions for new student chapters and Follow up the activation of non active SBs
- Organize the first Joint event : Conduct the first joint activity, such as a webinar or workshop, with all the Sister Chapter Group members. (Documentation and news to be send to GCN)
June + July + August (Summer 2023)
- Evaluate the success of the activity and gather feedback from participants. Monitor the progress of tasks assigned to members and provide support as needed
- Plan and coordinate the next joint activity (for the Fall 2023),
- Student exchange program / Summer School (Future target) – This year planning for 2024.
September + October (Fall 2023)
- Conduct the second joint activity, such as a webinar or workshop, with all the Sister Chapter Group members.
- Identify any areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Prepare an end-of-year report highlighting the results and achievements of the Sister Chapter Group pilot project. (To be submitted to BoG) + (Documentation and news to be send to GCN)
